Tour Plan
Day 1 - Srinagar (3 Nights)
Tour Guests will arrive at Srinagar Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet MSM Holidays tour manager at the airport and proceed to hotel. In the evening we enjoy short Meet & Greet session.
Today we enjoy a small Trek to Shankaracharya Hill followed by the iconic Shikara ride at Dal Lake. Later visit Nehru Park and click photographs in colourful Kashmiri outfits (at own cost). Further we enjoy Speed boat ride in Dal Lake. In the evening we enjoy Nature Time and Photography tour at the lush green Kashmiri gardens - Shalimar & Nishat Bagh.
Day 3 - Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Today we enjoy an excursion to Gulmarg - 'Meadow of Flowers'. We enjoy the famous Gondola ride (one of the highest in the world) to the second phase Apharwat point. We later enjoy, play and have fun time in Snow, also one can take up skiing and snowboarding activities (at own cost). After coming back to Srinagar, we have free time for Shopping. In the evening we enjoy a get together with our travel companions.
Day 4 - Srinagar – Pahalgam (1 Night)
Today we explore Pahalgam. En-route we view the Saffron fields at Pampore. On reaching Pahalgam we enjoy a Walk & Click tour of Betab Valley. In the evening we have free time to stroll at the Mall road of Pahalgam.
Day 5 - Pahalgam – Jammu (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Jammu. En-route we visit Kashmiri Cricket Bat Factory and Avantipur ruins. Upon arrival at Jammu we have free time to relax and the surroundings.
Day 6 - Jammu – Dharamshala (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Dharamshala – a hillside city surrounded by cedar forests located on the edge of the Himalayas known as the home of Dalai Lama. Upon arrival we have some free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.
Today we explore Dharamshala. We visit Dalai Lama Monastery – Serene Temple complex known for its ornamental facade, vibrant prayer halls & mountain locale, Bhagsu naag Temple – believed to be an ancient temple where Lord Shiva had prevailed himself and Dharamshala Cricket Ground – a picturesque cricket stadium surrounded by snow-capped mountains and lush green hills, located in the city of Dharamshala. Later we have free time for shopping.
Day 8 - Dharamshala – Amritsar (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Amritsar. Upon arrival, we visit Jallianwala Bagh (subject to operation) – a historic garden and memorial of national importance preserved in the memory of those who were killed in the Jallianwala Massacre that happened on 13th April 1919 and Partition Musuem – world's first Museum dedicated to the Partition of 1947. Later we visit Golden Temple – also known as Harmandir Sahib or Darbar Sahib is the holiest Gurdwara and the most important pilgrimage site of Sikhism, here we also see Akal Takht – throne of immortal and highest seat of authority of Khalsa. We then view Golden Temple by Night – Golden temple at night is certainly a treat for the eyes & soul.
Today we have free time for shopping. We visit Attari Wagah Border (subject to operation) – to witness the prestigious lowering of the flags ceremony daily military practice that the security forces of India and Pakistan have jointly followed since 1959.
Day 10 - Amritsar – Chandigarh (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Chandigarh – the first planned city of India designed by renowned French architect Le Corbusier. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.
Day 11 - Chandigarh – Kurukshetra – Panipat – Delhi (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Delhi. En route we visit Kurukshetra – known as the setting of the Hindu epic poem the Mahabharata. Here we visit Brahma Sarovar, Brahma Sarovar Park, Sri Krishna Museum, Jyotisar – where the holy Bhagwad Gita was preached in the Indian Epic, Mahabharata, Kurukshetra Panorama and Science Centre and Kalpana Chawla Memorial Planetarium. Further on the way we visit Panipat and see Devi Temple, Shri Ram Sharanam, Tomb of Bu – Ali Shah Kalandar and Panipat Museum. On reaching Delhi we check in to our hotel and relax.
Today we visit Raj Ghat. We also drive past India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House, followed by a visit to Bahai Temple – Lotus temple and Qutub Minar. We then visit Red Fort – also known as Lal Qila was built by Shah Jahan in the mid-17th century is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later we visit Akshardham Temple and witness the spectacular sound & light show.
Day 13 - Delhi – Vrindavan – Mathura – Bharatpur (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Bharatpur- founded in 1733 by Maharaja Suraj Mal. En route we stop at Mathura and Vrindavan to visit some famous and divine temples.
Day 14 - Bharatpur – Agra (2 Nights)
Today we visit Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary- one of the finest bird sanctuaries on the planet, Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary also called as Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Further we proceed to Agra – a city on the banks of the Yamuna River. Upon arrival we visit Mehtab bagh – a beautiful garden overlooking the Agra Fort and Yamuna River, provides a picture-perfect view of the Taj.
Today we visit Agra Fort – one of the UNECSO World Heritage Sites in India. Then we visit Taj Mahal – considered to be the epitome of the Mughal, later we get to see the Inlay work display. In the evening we enjoy boating in Yamuna River.
Day 16 - Agra – Gwalior (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Gwalior – home to the majestic hilltop fort, also described as the pearl of Indian fortresses.
Today we explore the city of Gwalior! We visit the Sun Temple, the elaborate Jai Vilas Palace and the massive sandstone fort which is a prestigious icon of the city - Gwalior Fort. In the evening we have free time for shopping.
Day 18 - Gwalior – Jhansi – Orchha – Khajuraho (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Khajuraho – famous for its ancient temples that depict some of the finest art in the world. On the way, we visit Orchha Fort - a medieval fort situated on the seasonal island of Betwa River in Orchha. Later we visit Jhansi Fort - A historical landmark built in the 17th century which bore witness to the fiery battle led by Rani Laxmi Bai, also known as Jhansi Ki Rani.
Today we take a guided heritage walking tour of Khajuraho Temples. We visit Kandariya Mahadeva Mandir – the largest and most ornate medieval temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Chitragupta Temple – 11th century Sun temple and Jain Temple. In the evening, we enjoy a spectacular light and sound show at Western Group of Temples.
Day 20 - Khajuraho – Bhedaghat – Jabalpur (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Jabalpur- One of the most famous cities of Madhya Pradesh, a major centre for production of arms, ammunition and an important military base in India. Upon arrival we enjoy a breath-taking boat ride at Bhedaghat to view beautiful glittering tower of world famous marble rocks. Then we walk through the Marble village of Bhedaghat. Further we enjoy an aerial view of marble like Duandhar Falls through a Ropeway ride.
Day 21 - Jabalpur – Kanha (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Kanha National Park - renowned as the “Tiger Reserve” due to the significant amount of population of tigers in the Kanha land. Apart from that the most famed Barasingha can be found in abundance in this reserve and thus this species can be suitable called as the “jewel of Kanha National Park”.
Today we get ready for a thrilling jeep safari experience in the morning as well as in the afternoon. Let’s get lucky to spot the Sher Khan, Chital, Sambar deer, Leopard, Nilgai, Wild Boar, Jackal, Indian fox, sloth bear etc.
Day 23 - Kanha – Nagpur (1 Night)
Today we Proceed to Nagpur - here we visit Dhamma Chakra Stupa at Nagpur- Also known as Deeksha Bhumi, the stupa is a marvellous architectural body and can accommodate more than 5,000 people. Further we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings
Day 24 - Nagpur – Nizamabad (1 Night)
Today we visit Sevagram Ashram- Mahatma Gandhi's ashram and his residence from 1936 till his death in 1948. Later we proceed to Nizamabad- a place where time tells stories of the glorious history of the Nezam’s.
Day 25 - Nizamabad – Hyderabad (3 Nights)
Today we visit Dichpalli Ramalayam- a Lord Rama temple built in 14th century by Kakatiya kings. As the temple has a lot of resemblance in its style and structure, it is also called as the Khajuraho of Nizamabad. Further we proceed to Hyderabad- known as ‘The Pearl City’, this beautiful city of Nizams has an unmatched blend of history and modernity. Upon arrival we enjoy boat ride at Husain Sagar Lake - renowned as Asia's largest artificial lake. Later we enjoy the ‘Laser Show’ at Lumbini Park which presents a captivating show of lights, displays the history of Hyderabad.
Today we visit Birla Mandir - famous for its impressive architecture, the temple is made of 2,000 tons of pure white marble. Later we visit Charminar - Also referred as the ‘Arc de Triomphe of the East’, it has four exquisitely carved pillars, one of each side, followed by a visit to Golconda Fort - also known as Golkonda is a fortified citadel and an early capital city of the Qutb Shahi dynasty and in the evening we enjoy sound & light show - presenting its history and facts.
Day 27 - Hyderabad – Ramoji Film City – Hyderabad
Today we visit Ramoji Film City - A place that is perfect for all the lovers of cinema and Bollywood! It houses some breath-taking locations, dotted with fountains, gardens and designer meadows, all of which come with a vibrant touch of cinema. Be a part of the opening and closing ceremony at Ramoji Film City. The whole day is yours to enjoy various activities at this fun place.
Day 28 - Hyderabad – Nagarjuna Sagar Dam (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Nagarjuna Sagar Dam- world's largest masonry dam the Krishna River. Here we enjoy a boat ride. Then we visit Nagarjunakonda Museum- Constructed in the shape of a Buddhist Vihara, the museum houses a stupendous collection of relics of Buddhist art and culture.
Day 29 - Nagarjun Sagar Dam – Kurnool (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Kurnool - an ancient city that has existed for over 2,000 years has derived its name from the word ‘Kandanavolu’ which means the ‘Town of Grease’. Upon arrival we visit Konda Reddy Fort, also known as Kondareddy Buruju.
Day 30 - Kurnool – Bangalore (2 Nights)
Today we visit Belum Caves- its name from "Bilum" Sanskrit word for caves. The largest and longest cave system on the Indian subcontinent. Later we proceed to Bangalore - popularly known as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of India for being a major IT hub of the nation. Upon arrival, we have free time for relaxing and exploring the surroundings.
Today we visit Tipu Sultan’s summer palace - an example of Indo-Islamic architecture and was the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler Tipu Sultan. HAL Aerospace Museum - a museum cum heritage centre exclusively meant for preserving the heritage of the aviation industry. Further we visit Lalbagh botanical garden- a haven for all nature lovers. In the evening we have free time for shopping.
Day 32 - Bangalore – Trichy (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Trichy – also known as Tiruchirappalli, is an ancient town famous for its various historical monuments and temples. Upon arrival we have free time to relax and explore the surroundings.
Today we visit Sri Ranganatha Swamy Temple – Constructed in the Dravidian form of Architecture, this temple has won the UNESCO Asia Pacific Award of Merit 2017 for cultural heritage conservation. The temple complex has 21 colourful sculpted Gopurams and is ranked amongst the largest religious complexes of the world. Rock Fort Temple- As the name signifies, Trichy’s Rock Fort Temple is a fortified religious complex, consisting of two temples. Further we visit Lord Shanmuganathar temple- dedicated to the Hindu god Murugan.
Day 34 - Trichy – Madurai – Rameswaram (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Madurai – known as ‘Athens of the East’, is the third largest city in Tamil Nadu with history that can be traced as far back as the 4rd century BC. Upon arrival we visit Meenakshi Temple – Dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva, this historically rich temple is built in Dravidian style of architecture and it has 12 lofty and heavily carved Gopurams. Later we proceed to Rameswaram - a town on Pamban Island and is noteworthy for being the place in India that's closest to neighbouring Sri Lanka.
Today we visit Rameswaram Temple- an exquisite temple in southern India dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is one for the 12 jyotirlingas. This place has a lot of importance in Hindu mythology and Lord Rama and Sita themselves are believed to have built the two lingams currenlty housed in the temple. Dhanushkodi - a small, sparsely populated beach town on the coast of Tamil Nadu and Adam’s bridge - also known as Rama's Bridge or Rama Setu, is considered as a legendary bridge which is mainly a chain of coral reefs and sandbanks. Day 36 - Rameswaram – Kanyakumari (2 Nights)
Today we proceed to Kanyakumari- a coastal town on India's southern tip. En route we visit Vattakottai fort- built in the 18th century as a coastal defence-fortification and barracks in the erstwhile Travancore kingdom.
Today we enjoy a ferry ride to Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial - built in 1970 in honour of Swami Vivekananda, followed by a visit to the meditation hall and the smarak, Kanyakumari Mandir - is one of the 52 Shakti Peethams, Tri Samudra Milan (Triveni Sangam), Gandhi Mandapam - a memorial building with sea views on site where Gandhi's ashes were held after his death. Later we witness the spectacular sunset at Kanyakumari.
Day 38 - Kanyakumari – Jatayu Earth Centre – Thiruvananthapuram (2 Nights)
Today we visit Jatayu Earth Centre – which stands at an altitude of 350m (1200ft) above the sea level. Jatayu Nature Park holds the distinction of having the world’s largest bird sculpture, which is of Jatayu. Here we take a cable car ride to reach at the main attraction, upon arrival we visit Jatayu Sculpture, Audio -Visual museum, Rama Temple & Mini Theatre. Further we proceed to Trivandrum – the capital of the Indian state of Kerala.
Day 39 - Thiruvananthapuram
Today we explore Trivandrum city, we visit Padmanabh Swami Temple - is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the Richest Place of Worship in the World, Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery - displays original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Napier Museum - It contains a host of historical artefacts including bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. In the evening, we visit magnificent lighthouse at Kovalam beach.
Day 40 - Thiruvananthapuram – Departure
It’s time now to say goodbye to our travel companions. Let’s stay in touch with each other through email, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and meet again on yet another memorable tour. See you all!!
